Made R7 limited Drivers - Golf. Review. com. Background: I play to about a 7 handicap and have been as low as a 3. Solid ball- striker with the irons but wayward with the driver. Like my drives, my scores can vary greatly. Anywhere between mid 7. Swing- speed about 1. Instead, I've always preferred the more traditionally shaped offerings. Matter of fact, I could never even get comfortable with the largest 4. Certainly, not one that could surpass the performance of my tried and true 4. TP. Although the shaft didn't suit me, I was very impressed by the super- solid feel at impact. So, I ordered one for myself.
Incredibly solid and forgiving with a terrific launch angle and and great distance. I'm not trying to claim Herculean distance gains here, but the increase is surely noticeable. Perhaps 1. 0 or so yards consistently longer than my current driver. It sets up perfectly square behind the ball (I cannot play drivers with a closed face- angle) and I now find it quite appealing. The R7 Limited is superb in it's forgiveness of contact toward the toe. Slight loss of distance but direction is barely affected. I find it to load beautifully with a very powerful release through impact. I have an extra Graphite Design PM 7. I'd intended to drop into this clubhead but I've since scrapped those plans. The driver with it's current set- up is the smoothest and most powerful that I've hit to date. But truth be told, I'm so darn impressed with the Limited that I see no reason at all to switch. Perhaps when it fails me but even then, considering the club's fantastic properties, I'd have to admit it being more the player than the club.
